This perfectly balanced IPA utilizes a grain bill consisting of malted barley and wheat along with a healthy dose of oats to provide a smooth and velvety mouthfeel. To match, the beer features fruity and floral aromas that come from a blend of Galaxy, Simcoe, and Citra hops. Sitting at just about 7% ABV, this beer also packs a punch!

This beer is ready in 4 weeks and makes about 10 12oz bottles (about 1 gallon). Due heavy dry hopping, this recipe may yield closer to 9 rather than 10 beers. For the most basic first time brewing recipes, click here.

Today was bottling day and the sample I am sipping, has a great taste and has a good buzz from the higher alcohol level. I was a little concerned because this was my first dry hopping experience. But rather then fool around with the tight seal on the pale lid, I just pulled out the airlock/grommet seal - and sent the hops down the drilled lid hole, without issue. Resetting the seal/airlock was not a big deal. Light citrus notes and the hops are mild. Sort of reminds me of driving past fields, with the window down when the hey is in big rolled bales. Farm feel.

Awesome NEIPA

I got the NEIPA kit this summer and was super excited to try it. NEIPA is my absolute favorite beer style and I believe it's a challenge to get right, especially at home. This kit nails it! I got a nice hazy beer with a very authentic NEIPA taste. 100% recommend!
